"I Come and Stand at Every Door"

Earlier this week, I was thinking about "I Come and Stand at Every Door" and realized that the structure of the rhyme scheme may have some significance.  It's ABCB (with a slant rhyme between "blind" and "wind" in the third verse), and the distance between the rhyming words suggests the same sort of expanse or breadth that's hinted at in the title line (in "ev'ry" specifically).
